 Next Greater Eatonville Chamber of Commerce Meeting:

MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Thursday, April 19, 2007
Mill Village Motel, 2nd Floor Conference Room.  

Please join us for an update on Upper Nisqually area community projects. 
 
Joe Kane, Executive Director, Nisqually Land Trust, will anchor the meeting with an overview of the Gateway Initiative, which calls for the permanent protection of 4,500 acres of timberlands near the main entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Additional presentations include the Mt Rainier Resort at Park Junction (Elbe), the Ashford Performing Arts Center and Mountaineering Museum, and efforts to reinvigorate tourism after the long closure of Mt Rainier National Park.  All of these projects have made significant progress in the past several months and all will have an economic and tourism impact in our communities.  There will also be a legislative update on the progress of additional projects in our area.

All meetings are luncheon meetings.  Luncheon location is the Mill Village Motel, 2nd floor conference room, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost is $7.50 for members making reservations by noon on Wednesday, April 18thh, and $9.50 for nonmembers and those with no reservations.  RSVP to the Chamber voicemail at (360) 832-4000 or send email to info@eatonvillechamber.com.
